As part of the 2-Year Implementation of the Bantay Ipo Project, a three-day Orientation Course for Deputy Environment and Natural Resource Officers (DENROs) was successfully conducted on November 19–21, 2025 at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Ipo Dam, Norzagaray, Bulacan.

This activity forms part of a broader strategy to enhance organizational development and strengthen the capabilities of Bantay Gubat members in protecting the Ipo Watershed.

The training was facilitated by FosPEEE, with support from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System, Maynilad Water Services, Inc., and Manila Water Company, Inc., and actively participated in by members of the Ipo Bantay Gubat.


2. Perception Survey (December 8-13, 2025)

As part of the 2-Year Implementation of the Bantay Ipo Project, FosPEEE conducted a Perception Survey on December 8–13, 2025, with 353 participants comprising adults, youth, and children from Barangays San Mateo, San Lorenzo, San Isidro, and Puray. The survey gathered insights on community knowledge, attitudes, and practices on watershed protection.


The results will help guide the development of an Information, Education, and Motivation (IEM) Plan to strengthen community engagement in protecting and sustaining the Ipo Watershed.
